Hello everyone,

We have decided to start a modding contest for Hacker Evolution: Untold.
And we have also decided to throw in some MASSIVE prizes:

First prize:

- A personalized and customized copy of Hacker Evolution: Untold on a USB memory stick. It will be personalized to match the game. The game copy will be custom built to run off the stick and will bear your name on it. We will use the best USB stick available on the market (no cheap chinese plastic).
It will also contain installers for the full version of every product we currently distribute.

- a $100 gift-card to be used on current and future products we will release.

Seconds and third prize:

- a $50 gift-card to be used on current and future products we will release.
- A free copy of any product of your choice, from what we are offering.

Further details:

The deadline is May 4, 2009, to allow plenty of time for development.
Only one entry per participant is allowed.
You must own a copy of either Hacker Evolution or Hacker Evolution: Untold

Voting:
After the contest is closed, voting will take place over a period of maxiumum 1 week.
Every participant will cast a vote for the top 3 mods. The vote can't include his/her own mod.
I will also cast one final vote.

etc...
Focus on quality, not on quantity. I won't give high votes for 20 levels. You can focus on even 1 level. Make it detailed, add nice puzzles, etc. I am voting for quality over quantity.
Don't be surprised if I vote no.1 for a mod with 1 level and 3 servers that has nice details, puzzles, intrigue, etc.

Good luck, and if you need any assistance, please let me know.

Simply download the .zip archive containing the mod, and extract it to the folder where your game is installed.

What happens if there's only two mods entered?

Nothing special. They will battle for the first 2 prizes.
I will however extend the deadline by another 2 weeks, just in case there is still someone wanting to enter.

But this is a modding contest for Hacker Evolution: Untold.

I think this is unfair. I could have made a better mod if I had more time.

It *should* work in Untold. Providing the modding hasn't changed in a big way.

If it doesn't Ill tweak it tonight if i get a chance.

No offense ryan but Grolo is right, that really isn't fair, I've had no internet for the past week, and i'm really bummed, My mod was 90% done, and I don't think its fair you should get time to "tweak" an old.
