bad news upon restarting computer I got a segmentation fault the first few times i tried to start the game but it worked after about 7 tries to start the game. Here is the debug information. Last. I noticed that commands are case sensitive and should either be set to case insensitive or be noted as case sensitive in game

We "rushed" things a bit to release the game, and decided to go with tar.gz for a while, as it doesn't affect the game's quality or functionality.

Hey, I just bought the Linux version and I am loving it. I am just a little bit annoyed at the fact that it seems to lock up every time I try to exit the game, and I have to restart X.
I am running Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit. Please let me know if there is anything I can provide or do to help solve this.

I tried the demo with my linux box : ubuntu 9.10 and i have somes bugs :
Sound : the sound is glitching
French version : this game didn't use the right character encoding i cant get accent as ecute accent : é è. I only get somes square. Linux usually use Unicode encoding : UTF-8.
Display : I have two screen with TwinView so this game try to use the two screens and not only one. I've tried windowed view but i can't resize it.
It's look to be a nice game and i will be happy to buy this game since you did a linux port but now it's not stable enough.

don't stop your good work Hi, Try this for the sound: export SDL_AUDIODRIVER=esd Accented and other characters won't work because they are not needed in the game. In order to keep the console simple, everything is case insensitive and doesn't require special characters. Try running the game on a single monitor setup. I know there are plenty of "exotic" desktops out there, but unfortunately it's almost impossible to target them all.

In my last post i didnt try to play but when the game is set to use french language, every word with accented letter had missing letter that's very ugly. with this, the french option is pointless.
