We are not sure what the issue is with SDL. It only occurs under some Ubuntu distros, so I am not sure it's related to our game. Sound works fine on other distros.

The french localization is not an official one. It was contributed by a user, so we have added it. It's pretty much a 3rd party add-on, so our support for it is pretty limited. However, the engine itself, parses commands without accents/etc.

We will keep looking into the twin monitor issue. A game being free or not doesn't have any or much influence over this issue.

Well I just pick this up and can't wait to see how it work on my laptop...

I play on a laptop with a resolution of 1024 x 600. I had no trouble other than the test writes over itself in some places making some things difficult to read.

Unfortunately the game requires at least 1024x768 to run properly.

First off, great job on the game.

I'm a College IT/Networking teacher and am the head of Linux courseware development for my school. I was actually thinking of getting a few extra copies for my students as many of the commands used in the game are Linux commands.

I just purchased the Linux version of the game but have yet to play it (I ordered about 10minutes ago) but I did notice that the demo had some problems, specifically with the shortcut keys. I did notice that this issue has been mentioned already, but I was wondering if it had already been fixed in the full version. If not, do you have an ETA on when it will be fixed?

I am currently running Ubuntu 10.04 Beta2 64bit.

In any case, keep up the fantastic work. The game looks great!

We released an update for the Linux version and the bugs/issues are now hopefully fixed.

I downloaded the full version and the function keys still do not work. I checked the user area and I do have the newest version.

Couple more things I've found:

Cannot run the game in Windowed mode, always goes back to fullscreen.
Game will not remember serial number
