My current problem is a relatively 'simple' one, I suppose, but I'm having a bit of a problem with the interface - instead of the clear button-based interface from the walkthrough videos, I have some bizarre honeycomb thing with progress bars for the DoS / EMP, but nothing else visible - the 'underlying' buttons are still there, as I'm getting aural cues when I sweep over them, but it makes getting on with the game near-impossible, because there's no shortcut to log out of servers as far as I can tell.

Also having trouble finding the manual inside the HE:D folder of SteamApps/Common, is it located somewhere else or was there some minor oversight?

Manual is coming tomorrow.
I did a lot of minor last moment changes and I need to go through the manual again to update it.
Didn't want to delay the actual release for the manual.

I've tried restarting the level, reinstalling the game, everything like that. Is it a resolution problem of some kind maybe? Running it at 1280x1024, so it's nothing too outlandish.

I have only seen this issue in a very few isolated cases.
I am doing my best to try and figure it out.

I'm having this issue aswell..

I'm having this issue (no buttons on the bottom of the interface). When it happens, the mission briefing doesn't load, but the buttons are still interactable although hidden. Sometimes loading a different profile or reloading the game will fix it temporarily.

Restart the game, and see if that helps.
I think I have an idea where this comes from.
