 Post subject: Compile source problem

Hi Robert, I just need your help with compile/build source of Hacker Evolution.
I use MV C++ 6.0
Opened file: HackerEvolution.dsw
and try to build (key F7)

There are 8 errors, 1 warning
What is wrong?

You'll probably have to get Robert to send you the DirectX 8 SDK libraries like everyone else did. The one you get off MSDN is missing some stuff if I remember right.

He managed to compile to source using the standard SDK, installed over MSVC :)

If I purchase this game when (if) the linux port is released will my serial work for it? And any ideas of when that would be?

We will start working on the Linux and Mac port this week.
Existing customers will be able to activate those copies once they are available, with the same serial number.

I don't yet have a timeframe for that. I will have to discuss this with the programmer doing it.

Thanks for the speedy reply :)

As soon as I get a little more dropped onto PayPal I will definitely be buying this game - I suppose while I wait for the linux port I can steal the wife's laptop :p

It has to be said one of the main reasons I will buy this is the speed that the developer responded to a query.
